Graham Stephen – Funeral Director and Embalmer

Graham’s family has a long association with funeral directing and it was without hesitation Graham also decided to formally train in this profession adding to three generations of family to do so. He is highly regarded throughout the industry for his consistent commitment and service to the funeral industry.

Heather Stephen – Funeral Director and Celebrant

Heather joins her husband Graham not only in her passion for the industry but also in her commitment to providing the highest service and professionalism available. 

Throughout every aspect of the business Heather ensures families needs are consistently exceeded. Her special skill set lies in celebrancy and funeral directing where she is sought after in officiating reflective and special farewells.

Lynette Hodge – DIP FD – Funeral Director and Embalmer

Lynette has worked in the funeral profession for 12 years and has a natural ability to work alongside families offering warmth, support and caring advice. Lynette is known for her knowledge and experience in the industry and offers peace of mind and reassurance when a loved one departs.

Leigh-Anne Fox – Funeral Director and Embalming/Mortuary Assistant

Leigh-Anne works alongside Lynette and Graham offering the very best in funeral care. She has spent time honing her skills in grief counselling and feels particularly honoured to be able to assist and provide peace of mind to families during what can be a difficult time.

Carolyn Stacey – Funeral Director and Embalming/Mortuary Assistant

Carolyn brings high organisational skills to Central Otago Funerals and feels privileged to help support families and organise appropriate farewells for loved ones.

Jo Ireland – Office Manager

Jo knows what it takes to run a successful office and after working locally for almost 40 years, she  knows  Central Otago like the back of her hand.A master administrator, and highly organised,  Jo enjoys being able to make processes easier for families and work colleagues.

Paul Hodge – Crematorium Manager and Stonemason

Paul works alongside Central Otago Funerals operating and managing the Central Crematorium and assisting families to prepare and restore headstones and monumental work. He’s a big part of the team and consistently goes out of his way to provide support and knowledge where he can. His respectful nature allows him to work well alongside families when replacing, restoring or erecting headstones.
